A white woman and a black woman secretly form a grass roots organization to fight against apartheid in the early 1970's in Cape Town ---- the subsequent conflicts and collision of cultures, the victories, and, in the end, the impossibilty of  that  friendship in post-apartheid South Africa.  This play is based on a true story.

" A Question of Country " is dedicated to the women and men of Ikamva Labantu, a grass roots organization, which was one of the many that  worked together against apartheid, and to build a new South Africa. Their mission, from the beginning, has been to help people help themselves. They saved 70,000 people, 45,000 of them children. Their work continues,
